MENUS AND SUB MENUS

You have 3 types of menus:

1. STOP mode menu (LOCAL FOLDER, DELETE FILE, and DELETE ALL)
2. PLAY mode menu (REPEAT, EQ, TEMP RATE, REPLAY, REPLAY TIMES, and REPLAY GAP)
3. Main menu (MUSIC, RECORD, VOICE, and SYSTEM)

To access STOP mode menu, make sure there is no music playing and quickly press the jog dial in once

To access PLAY mode menu, make sure there is no music playing and quickly press the jog dial in once

To access MAIN mode menu, hold down jog dial until menu appears


VOICE RECORDING

To operate the voice recorder, please follow these steps:

1. Turn the player on
2. Hold down jog dial until MAIN menu appears
3. Move jog dial to RECORD and press jog dial in to select
4. Wait for Initialization
5. Press PLAY button to begin recording
6. Press PLAY button to end recording
7. Press jog dial in and hold to save recording
8. To exit RECORDING, hold down jog dial until menu appears
9. Select MUSIC to go back to your song selection

To access your voice recordings on your MP3 player

1. Turn the player on
2. Hold down jog dial until MAIN menu appears
3. Move jog dial to VOICE press jog dial in to select
4. Use the jog dial to scroll up and down to view your list of recordings
5. Press the PLAY button to listen to your voice recordings
6. Press the PLAY button to stop
7. To exit VOICE, hold down jog dial until menu appears
8. Select MUSIC to go back to your song selection

Where to access your voice recordings on your computer

1. Plug the MP3 player to your computer using USB cord
2. Go to MY COMPUTER on your desktop
3. Double click on REMOVABLE DISK (X)
4. Voice recordings will be saved in your REMOVABLE DISK (X)
5. You can play the recordings by double clicking on RECXX.WAV

INTRO MODE

To exit out of intro mode:

1. Turn the player on
2. Press the PLAY BUTTON to begin playing
3. Press the jog dial in once to access PLAY menu
4. Press the jog dial in once to access the REPEAT function
5. Scroll to NORMAL and press the jog dial in to change from INTRO TO NORMAL
6. After selecting NORMAL you will automatically exit back to your current play selection

RANDOM MODE

To access RANDOM:

1. Turn the player on
2. Press the PLAY BUTTON to begin playing
3. Press the jog dial in once to access PLAY menu
4. Press the jog dial in once to access the REPEAT function
5. Scroll to RANDOM and press the jog dial in to change
6. After selecting RANDOM you will automatically exit back to your current play selection

CREATING FOLDERS

1. Plug the MP3 player to your computer using USB cord
2. Go To MY COMPUTER on your desktop
3. Double click on REMOVABLE DISK (X)
4. Use your mouse and right click on your screen
5. A list of selections appear in a small grey box
6. Scroll down to NEW and on the right click on FOLDER
7. A folder called NEW FOLDER will appear on screen
8. You can change the name of the folder by clicking on it once with your mouse, the right click it to access more options
9. Scroll to RENAME and click on your left mouse button
10. You can enter a name or leave it with the default name NEW FOLDER
11. You can copy and paste songs into new folder
12. If you do not copy songs into your folder, then they can be accessed in the ROOT DIRECTORY in your MP3 player

ACCESSING FOLDERS IN MP3 PLAYER

1. Turn the MP3 player on
2. Make sure the MP3 player is in STOP mode
3. Press jog dial in once to access STOP mode menu
4. Select LOCAL FOLDER and press jog dial
5. Scroll to find your desired folders
6. Press jog dial to select folder
7. After selecting your folder you will automatically into your new play list


CHANGING LANGUAGES

1. Turn the MP3 player on
2. Press in jog dial and hold until MAIN menu appears
3. Scroll to SYSTEM and press jog dial to select
4. Scroll to LANGUAGE and press jog dial to select
5. Scroll and select your preferred language and press jog dial to select
6. Exit out of the sub menu's to return to your play selection

CHANGING BACK TO ENGLISH IF ACCIDENTALLY SWITCHED TO OTHER LANGUAGE

1. Turn the MP3 player on
2. Hold down jog dial until MAIN menu appears
3. Select the icon that has 3 squares with interconnecting lines and press the jog dial
4. Select icon that has the letter E and press the jog dial
5. Scroll to the icon that indicates US (ENGLISH) and press the jog dial to select
6. Exit out of the sub menu's to return to your play selection

ADJUSTING AUTO OFF TIME

1. Turn the MP3 player on
2. Hold down jog dial until MAIN menu appears
3. Select SYSTEM and press jog dial
4. Select POWER OFF and press jog dial
5. Select OFF TIME and press jog dial
6. Adjust the amount of time you wish your player will turn off when inactive
7. Exit out of the sub menu's to return to your play selection
Regaining missing memory(ie. M100 should be 119 mb but only 99 mb appears

Please make sure that encrypted disc capacity is set to zero(bypass steps 1-3 if you already have the software installed):

1. Place disc in CD ROM
2. Search for setup.exe
3. Install setup.exe in default location
4. Plug your MP3 player into your USB port
5. Go to your START button on the bottom left
6. Go to ALL PROGRAMS and select the right arrow to open up your menu
7. Search for MP3 Utilities 1.43
8. Select MP3 Player Disk Tool
9. Select "Partition and Encrypt" tab at top next to "Format" tab
10. Under "Partition" move the slider bar all the way to the left so that "Setting encrypted disc capacity xx Mb" is 0 Mb

This should remove the partition and decrypt the memory.
