FAQ Q. Why can't I play my voice recordings on my computer? A. With the original blue screen M100, M200, and M500, voice files are stored as .act files. You will need to use our file convertor to convert these files to .wav format, in order to play them on your PC. Click here to download the file convertor. Q. Why does the removable HD not appear on my screen? A. If you are running Windows 98 SE then you must install the driver from the disk included. Q. I am running Windows 2000 and XP, do i need to install the disc? A. No you do not, Windows 2000 and XP are plug and play. You do not need to install any drivers. Q. Why can i not transfer songs from my CD to my MP3 player? A. You cannot transfer the songs on your CD to your MP3 player because they are not in MP3/WMA formats. Q. Is the M100, M200, M500, and EZ3 compatible with MAC? A. Unfortunately these four units are not compatible with MAC. We will have some products in the future that will accomodate MAC users. Q. Why does my ID-3 tag not display the full song? A. There are limitations to the ID3 tag and how many characters it can fit. To alter the name on the ID3 tag: 1. Go to the music file you wish to change 2. Right click the song name 3. Scroll down to PROPERTIES 4. Select the SUMMARY tab on the top 5. Select ADVANCE 6. Add the song name next to the heading: ALBUM TITLE 7. Select OK Q. Are you compatible with Puretracks or Bonfire? A. We are currently in the process of applying for compatibility with these companies. Q. How do i fit more songs on the MP3 player? A. On average a 128MB MP3 player will hold 25 songs and 256MB player will hold 50. You can add more MP3's on the player by downloading songs with lower bitrates. Keep in mind that a lower bitrate will sacrifice sound quality. Q. Why does my MP3 Player have less than the stated memory size? A. Please refer to the "Restoring Missing Memory" section of our online support documentation. |
